Deeply influenced by the life and ways of the secluded fishing hamlets by the Bay of Bengal, where he grew up, he is an avid traveller and admirer of the Indian countryside. He is passionate about cooking and enjoys trying out traditional coastal Indian recipes. This is his first book. He is currently working on his next book, which chronicles anecdotes and stories involving fishermen from Odisha.
