This research includes data on pollution contamination, drinking water commodities, and disease spread across the region with more emphasis on the data regarding diseases caused by air bourne and water bourne contaminating agents. All the datas have been collected from the villages, namely Dasarathpur, Telepasi, Jhubahali, Solada, Bhajanipur, Chadrasekharpur, Badajharan, Khirkolipasi, Madanmohanpur, Badahar, Mallibandha, Hariharpur Rayati, Brajnathpur, Gopalprasad, etc. With intent to understand the health impact of coal mines across the rural area.

Dr. Ratan Kumar Acharya has obtained his doctorate degree in Applied Geography from Utkal University in 2021. He is presently working as an Assistant professor in Geography under the department of higher education(Govt. of Odisha). He is Gold Medallist in Post Graduation& awarded inspire fellowship by the Department of Science & Technology. He is doing his research work in the field of mining impacts & sustainable mining technology.
