About the Author:

Swami Sushantha was born in 1969 at Namakkal, Tamilnadu, india. In Aug 1993 while serving at Indian Bank, he encountered his Guru and thus made him as full-time volunteer of the Isha Yoga Center since 1995. By Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, in the year 1996 he got initiated into Brahmacharya and by 2006 in the sacred path of sanyas. In the year 2003 he undertaken parivarajaka life (living as wandering monk) and travelled by walk from south to north up to Kedarnath and returned back. He became first Shivanga and by the order of his Guru he became a full-time volunteer for the newly formed charitable trust called “then Kailaya Bhakthi Peravai” In the year 2011 he got the permission and blessings from his guru to move to Himalayas to pursue his sadhana life. Here he sharing his experience of those fatal moments of living in the flash flood waters, Himalayan tsunami 2013 and recreating his life with sense of purpose.

About Muthumeenakshi - the Translator

Smt. Vasantha, 75, from Tamilnadu, with the pen name Muthu Meenakshi after retirement turned into new avatar as translator cum writer. She has done many translations of various authors from Hindi/Sanskrit to Tamil and vice versa.

“ADAMKHOR “The work of Sahithya Academy winner Shri. Nanak Singh, got the recognition of Sahithya Academy when translated from Punjabi to Tamil via Hindi. Similarly the Rahul Sanskrithyayan’s famous work “VOLGA TO GANGA” from Hindi to Tamil translation is another jewel in her crown. In 2008 received the Best translator award for the book “JAGADA” (collection of Stories- Tamil to Hindi). This work, she volunteered for a noble cause taken by the author is another milestone in her contribution to literature and reaching out the people.
