Dr. Jaya Bharti is working on the post of Assistant Professor of Psychology at A.N.D. College, Kanpur University. She received her B.A. (Gold medalist) and M.A (Gold medalist) University of Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh). She earned her Ph.D. degree also from the University of Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh). Besides that, she qualified for the NET-JRF in Psychology. She is a former junior research fellow and senior research fellow at the University of Lucknow during her Ph.D.She has published more than forty-five articles and chapters in national and International Journals and edited books. Her special areas of interest are clinical, counseling, research methodology, personality, and psychological testing. The author has participated in many national and international seminars and educational conferences organized by different educational organizations and agencies. She is deeply involved in the promotion of mental health services and the education of girls.
One of the authors of the book“Indian Women: A Struggled Legacy and Reality”, Dr. Hitaishi Singh, an Academician, Researcher, Education Planner, Administrator, and Trainer, is currently working as an Associate Professor, Department of Home Science with a specialization in extension and communication at A.N.D.N.N.M. Mahavidhyalaya, CSJM University, Kanpur. Throughout her academic journey, she has been meritorious and was a university rank holder in her Post graduation. She was awarded ICAR JRF for P. G., UGC Teachers’ Fellowship for Ph. D., and qualified UGC NET for Home Science. She has also worked extensively for social causes and has been engaged with national and international developmental agencies on several research projects, training, report writing, and documentation assignments.
