Dr. Ir. Manas G. Roy M.A.Sc. (Canada), Ph.D. (Mech., U.K.) Ph.D. (Marketing, U.K.) Born in Kolkata, Dr. Ir. Manas G. Roy migrated to Europe in 1986 after obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a few years of working in India. He did his Master’s from the Dalhousie University of Canada as a Fulbright scholar, and later became a Doctorate in Engineering from the University of London, the U.K. He went on to earn a second Doctorate, in Marketing Management from London, the U.K. He served Philips Netherlands as Director and Vice-President of Global Marketing and finally topped his commendable career as President and CEO of Siemens- EPCOS AG in Germany, where he spent two decades. Dr. Roy has lived and worked in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Singapore, Taiwan and China as a Technologist & Head of Business Development, Marketing and Sales. He has successfully built businesses for multinationals until 2008. He has worked as consultant in the domain of turnaround management as an expert for the ACER group, Matino Netherlands, BENQ Taiwan, Darfon, Taiwan, and several other companies across the world.
