Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalDieting is the most common tool to lose weight. Many diet plans are available, with dieticians and nutritionists preparing new people for specific needs and specific types of lifestyles. It is common to hear complaints against these diet plans, many people fail to lose weight. The reason is not necessarily the ineffectiveness of the diet plan, but the failure of that person to strictly follow and for a prescribed period. There are also cases where people literally do not eat anything but never lose their weight. They are certainly not lying when they say they are eating less, but the results, should not be seen. Many people never go on a diet because they fear that they will not be able to follow the requirements. Here are listed some very common causes of dieting and failure to lose weight.
Setting unrealistic goals
People set unrealistic weight loss goals when they decide to go on a diet. If you want to lose twenty pounds in two weeks, you are unrealistic and certainly very harsh on yourself. The diet plan you can choose for this purpose includes crash dieting and you may not be able to cope with it for two weeks, nor physically and mentally. Weight loss goals should always be realistic. This is something that requires perseverance and patience, do not rush. Instead of crippling yourself, set realistic and short-term goals, so that their achievement is no less stringent and motivates you in the long term.
