However, there is a new goal behind it. Less carbs are consumed, the body burns fat as fuel thus reducing weight. Therefore, the main health function of the keto diet is to reduce or get rid of the obsessive intake of carbs, moderate protein intake and grow up on fat. It states that, ketogenic diet is known for its amazing health benefits such as reduced susceptibility to common heart diseases and also diabetes. Keto diet has been considered very effective for reducing weight, which reduces the stiffness of some diseases like epilepsy, some types of cancer, Alzheimer's, type 2 diabetes etc. Also improves blood sugar levels and increases triglycerides levels. However, the keto diet has its own health and environmental concerns. The main environmental issue is the source of dairy and animal products. Most dairy and meat-rich diets have traditionally been obtained from animals raised within confined spaces that are fed on the basis of controlled animal feeding operations. It contributes to climate change and is mostly nutritionally deficient. In addition, meat is consumed primarily, such as hotdogs, bacon, salami, ham, etc.
