Rupnarayan Bose

Rupnarayan Bose worked at various positions with the State Bank of India for the major part of his professional career. Later, he served as the managing director of two banks in Kenya and Uganda before returning to India to pursue his interests in academics.

He has gained a considerable reputation as a specialist in international trade rules, especially those of the International Chamber of Commerce (Paris). He has authored several books, and a large number of articles on international trade published in reputed journals and periodicals in India and abroad. He has been delivering lectures in India and overseas on settlement risk management, documentary credits, documents and documentation in export/import trade, the Incoterms rules and guarantees, and multiple other topics.

Presently, among his other engagements, he is also a visiting faculty at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and is fully involved in his passions for writing, as a faculty and trainer.
