There are two objects which keep me kicking. My camera and my prayer beads. When I don't have my prayer beads in hand, I like to have my camera there. Because both of these have the same effect on me. Photography for me is immensely meditative and raises my life condition exactly the same way when I am in deep prayer. Each picture I click, each picture I share, goes out with deep wishes and prayers for the happiness and prosperity of the viewer. And their connection to the nature to turn the wheel around. As I believe, when human race in totality, with no exceptions whatsoever, starts respecting and loving the nature, we will have a wonderful world to live in.
I am not a Buddhist scholar or an authority on this great life philosophy called Buddhism. I am just another confused soul trying to join the dots who practices Buddhist teachings. Looking at life very closely and linking everything to the law of cause and effect.
In my articles, I try to simplify the teachings and keep them short, crisp and to the point. I sincerely hope these articles bring some sense of sanity in our troubled minds. Though we are so consumed in our own world, our own ego and sufferings that we have lost the Buddha mind to distinguish between the correct or incorrect teachings.
As a photographer, I am a work in progress. Just another guy with a passion to capture the moment. I do not carry a fancy gear when I am out there in the nature. The only thing I carry is my love for Nature. I just try to seize that moment which makes me sit down and think. Think about the beauty and what we humans are doing to it….
Time and again I keep asking myself, the reason why I love to take photographs. The reason - my belief in humanity and my love for nature. That is why I feel my photographs are like 'Visual Poetry'.
Thank you, guys, for reading through. In closing I just want to add that we might be in search of “The Buddha”. Please simplify your search. Instead of “The Buddha” please go on a look out for “Your Buddha”. Its closer than you think and much more powerful than you can even imagine.
