Meet the ‘gang’, made up of Aju, Ani and friends, who seek adventure in the small, peaceful hill town of Coonoor.
All of a sudden they stumble into a network of rogues and come up against the dangerous mastermind behind an evil conspiracy. The abandoned ‘ghost house’ and a secret cave seem to be at the center of the mystery. The gang is determined to find out what is going on.
They are captured and made captives. Now they need some quick thinking and fast action to escape the clutches of the cunning conmen.
Can they do it? Or will they end up getting more than what they bargained for?
Minnie Tensingh
Having lived next to a library in Coonoor during childhood, Minnie Tensingh became a voracious reader and her interest in writing was awakened early and quickly honed. Her poems, short stories and plays for her school and college mags won applause and prizes.
Due to transfers and family obligations, writing took a backseat for some time, but she has now returned to her first love, writing. Recently, she won the second prize in the Glorious Times online poetry competition and is also a regular contributor to online magazines. Painting is her second love and stress buster.
Born and brought up in the hill town of Coonoor, Nilgiris, she could never think of any other place as home. Though she now lives in Chennai, she visits her hometown often. Most of the incidents and adventures in her book are borrowed from her own childhood experiences.
She feels that children should know that an ordinary, down-to-earth person can also have an interesting life, that life could be exciting without magic, super power or make-believe . She hopes to promote the habit of reading in children and kindle a curiosity in them to explore and enjoy the treasure trove found in books that would give wings to their imagination.
