Gopal Dwivedi

For Gopal, life began in a close-knit family that thrived on the delicate intricacies of cooking, in a home where the kitchen was as sacred as a temple. To him, all life’s lessons came from elders who showered him with their love and blessings but also valued morals over everything else. Such a warm family served as a perfect breeding ground for an indulgent individual who imbibed knowledge about flavors, spices, and traditional cooking techniques and this is exactly what gives him an edge in the modular furniture design industry.

His first publication “Modular Kitchen Planning & Designing Guide” is an award-winning book and available online. An avid cook, our writer has various other titles accredited to his name like ‘Tea Trivia’ which reflects upon his passion for the art of brewing aromatic tea herbs, and another marvel called ‘Salad Bar’ that deciphers everyday nutrition and helps readers inculcate the right kind of food habits in life. His book ‘mocktails and more’ brings a reformed version of root drinks like mocktails, detox juices, and punches to enliven many parties.

Gopal has been a part of the Indian modular furniture industry for 15 years now, and has worked with renowned names like Hettich, Hindware, H & R Johnson, and Sleek International among many more. He is known as the ‘the face of Modular Furniture Design in India’ in the industry.

Currently, he is the Assistant Vice President at India's biggest online interior designing firm called Livspace.com. In 2019, the Indian Kitchen Congress honored him as the Kitchen Professional of the Year 2019, for the second time after 2014. He is playing an instrumental role in developing the training curriculum for FFSC - Furniture & Fittings Skill Council of India.

Considering the traction, and rapidly growing demand for modular wardrobes inspired him to deep dive into the world of wardrobes, and after two years of research and surveys, resulted in the form of “Modular Wardrobe Designing and Planning  Guide” which is the world’s first start to end wardrobe planning guide.
