Dr. Chandrasekharan Praveen, who hails from the lush green state of Kerala, India, was formerly the Principal of the Institute of Advanced Study in Education, Thrissur. He has specialized in Educational Technology and his expertise was often sought by universities in Kerala and the NCERT. He has delivered over 75 invited lectures and conducted over 50 workshops for teachers and students. A popular blogger with seven lakh readers and counting, he owns a unique website, New Curator Pedagogue, which offers free content and marks him out as a teacher educator with an original and creative mind. For his contribution to technology-based education, in 2017, he was conferred with the title ‘Excellent Educator: Techno-Pedagogy’ by the Voice of Teachers, Tamilnadu.
