My annual day is the most exciting day of the year! It is a day when all the students come together to celebrate our school's achievements and to showcase our talents. There are months of preparation leading up to the big day, with everyone practicing their dances, songs, and sketches.
On the day of the annual day, the school is transformed into a festive venue. The stage is decorated with colorful lights and flowers, and the audience is packed with parents, teachers, and students. The program usually begins with a welcome speech by the principal, followed by a performance of the school anthem. Then, the students take over the stage with a variety of cultural performances, including dances, songs, skits, and plays.
One of the highlights of the annual day is the prize distribution ceremony. The chief guest, who is usually a distinguished person from the community, presents awards to the students who have excelled in academics, sports, and other extracurricular activities. It is always a proud moment to see my classmates being recognized for their accomplishments.
