This book describes how to perform and optimize the various types of Polymerase Chain Reactions (PCR) for postgraduate students, scholars and researchers in all branches of life science. 2. Dr. B. Usharani works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics of Dr. A.L.M Post Graduate Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She worked as a consultant in the Global TB projects for the Foundation of Innovative New Diagnostics. 4. Dr. C. K. Vidya Raj works as a Consultant in the Department of Microbiology of Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and Post Graduate Institute. She completed her post-graduation at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Science and was awarded a Gold medal in MD from Pondicherry University.
5. Dr. K. Venkatesh works as a Scientist-E in the National Institute of Nutrition, Indian Council of Medical Research, Hyderabad.
