Dr. Shanti Roy, Dr. Shipra Roy
Dr. Shanti Roy is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in Patna. She is a retired professor and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Patna Medical College. She was born in a village named Goreakothi in the western part of Bihar. She passed matriculation from her village in the 1st division and graduated from Prince of Wales Medical College, Patna, with many honours and gold medals. She served as a teacher of obstetrics and gynaecology in various medical colleges of Bihar for more than 33 years. She was awarded Padamshree by the Government of India for her special interest in teaching and community awareness.
Dr. Shipra Roy is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Swasti Women’s Hospital & Research Centre , Patna. She completed her graduation with honours and gold medals from Patna Medical College. She was awarded Master’s Degree in Obs & Gynae from Patna University. She is a fellow of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) and Indian College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She worked for the NHS in UK for eight years in this field. She has special expertise and interest in high-risk pregnancy.
