The author retired from DRDO and held an Emertus Professorship from the UGC GOI, N Delhi, having been on the faculty at VTU and JNTU, Katrnataka and A.P. After studies at Caltech, and UCLA, Ca, USA he participated in numerous DRDO and other environmental projects in California and Environmental Protection Agency USA, and received an Honourable Mention from Rolex Awards Switzerland, More recently he has participated in a competition to design a Wave power system by the USERDA with other colleagues in California. Several publications resulted from conferences in Bangalore, USA, Mauritius and Jordan (Travel Grants from GOI), and have appeared International Journals in the areas of Solar Energy, Biogas and Turbomachines
