Dr. Ankita Saini Dr. Sunil Kumar Saini
Dr. Ankita Saini received her degrees in B.Sc. in Biochemistry and M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from University College, Kurukshetra and Department of Chemistry, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra,-India, respectively. She has completed one year add-on certificate course in Bioinformatics during her graduation. She received her Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India, in 2018. Her doctoral thesis includes the design, development and structure property relationship of Naphthalimide-based organic materials for opto-electronics and bioimaging. She has presented many papers and participated in national and international conferences, workshops, seminars and FDPs etc. She has been invited as speaker and session chair to deliver lecture. Till now, she has served as an assistant professor of chemistry for 4 years. She has supervised and mentored both UG and PG students on research projects, reviews and dissertations. Her current research interests include the design and development of novel green functional materials for sustainable environment, nano-technology, optoelectronics and biomedical applications.
Dr. Sunil Kumar Saini completed his B.Sc. in Medical from MLN College, Yamunanagar, and M.Sc. in Zoology from Department of Zoology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India. He has worked as JRF under a research project on fish and fisheries from 2013-15 in Department of Zoology and Environmental Sciences, Punjabi University, Patiala. Later, he received his Ph.D. degree in Zoology from Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab -India in 2019. During his Ph.D., he was focused on Fish and Fisheries, Wetland Ecology and Conservation, Aquatic Biology and Ornithology. He has presented papers and participated in many conferences, seminars, workshops and FDPs. He received his B.Ed. in Biological and Physical Sciences from Kurukshetra University. Having an experience of 6 years of teaching, currently he is working as an assistant professor in the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Life Sciences, PDM University, Bahadurgarh, Haryana-India.
