Dr. Augusting Lourdu G has completed his PhD in Social work and has been working as an assistant professor in the deparment of medical and psychiatric social work for the past 8 years. He has been psychiaric Counsellor for a period of five years in Holy Cross Hospital in southern Part of India, during which he explored the depth of social diagnosis through case work as a great tool for intervention. He has published  number of research articles and published a book. His thrust on the need for using methods of social work as a great tool is an out come of field work experience. He taught the primary methods of social work and encourages students to use them to help the individual, group and communities.
