Team Roles Through the Eyes of Shakespeare and Dr. Meredith Belbin

Author Name: Mohan Gopinath | Format: Paperback | Genre : Educational & Professional | Other Details
This book is a sequel to three earlier books, ‘Business Drama: How Shakespearean Insights Help Leaders Manage Volatile Contexts’, which came out in April 2014 and was published by Zorba Publishers Pvt. Ltd. It was co-authored with Dr. Ray Titus and Dr. Debashish Sengupta. The second book, ‘Leadership Nuances in Shakespeare’s Plays’ focused on leadership, including contextual leadership. The third book is titled ‘Negative Change Paradigms in People: Through the Eyes of Shakespeare and Sumantra Ghoshal’. This book, the fourth in the series which you are now holding in your hands, again leans on the Bard and looks at some of the lessons which he brought out in his plays about the putting together of teams. I have linked three Shakespearean characters with what Dr. Meredith Belbin, wrote in his book ‘Team Roles at Work’. In other words, it again links the distant Shakespearean past with a current management concept and examines the nature of the lessons which can be pulled out.
