Chinmoy Shome
Born and brought up in the remote hamlet of Lumding in the North East, Chinmoy Shome comes from a middle class-family. He studied at Guwahati University, and then went to Mumbai to pursue a career as an engineer.
Chinmoy spends much of his time thinking about life and humanitarian issues. He loves writing, reading and watching cricket matches. He often plays in local cricket tournaments as well. The idea for this book came when he started thinking about how a sportsman finally conquers every negative emotion, and overcomes the hurdles that come in the way of his success.
