The Voices in My Head Just Got Louder

Author Name: Dr Lubaina Bahar | Format: Paperback | Genre : Poetry | Other Details

Last year, I introduced you to the voices in my head. These are the voices that are integral to my being. These are the voices that keep me going in the toughest of the times, the voices that motivate me, the voices that make me feel alive. Also, these are the voices that scream when I feel hurt, the voices that cry when I feel pained, the voices that sometimes thrash me to the ground and at others elevate me above all agony.

The voices in my head that tried to reach you through some poems last year just got louder than ever before during the pandemic that plundered the entire humanity and shattered the hopes and lives of many, known and unknown to me. And yet, they kept me going. They helped me cope with the immense pressures at work and in personal life.

So, I am here to share again some thoughts, some inspiration, some advice and some truth. Through this book, I have tried to create some positivity in times of annihilation, hope in times of gloom, inspiration for the souls who think they are defeated and the true image of the devastation that we witnessed all of last year during the pandemic whose aftermath, many of us are still suffering.

I am not sure if this will relate to each one of you who reads it but I do hope you can feel the message I want to convey through some simple phrases and words. There is nothing special about this book. You can simply call it a mirror to my soul.
