Soul Sisters
Usha and Tulika Basumatary are two sisters who co-author under one pen name ‘Soul Sisters’.
These sisters were born and brought up in the serene region of our Himalayan state Assam, which is blessed with the second Ganga of India, the river Brahmaputra. Brahmaputra has been a source of inspiration to many legendary Assamese and Indian poets and writers.
How could they go untouched by such divinity and epitome of inspiration around in the air? Inevitably, they have been writing for the past five years, and the book in your hand, Those Oblivious Emotions, is their debut collection of short stories. They are humble residents of the beautiful city of Guwahati.
Besides writing, the Soul Sisters love dancing, travelling and yoga.
