Written as part of her IB MYP personal project when she was just 15, Kadiam’s book delves into the realities of child marriage through personal tales.
Shocked by her grandmother’s marriage at sixteen and her sister’s at eleven, Kadiam embarked on a journey to understand and address this issue. Her exploration uncovers the emotional and social problems that these young women endure. Each story provides a unique perspective on the sacrifices, resilience, and personal battles of those forced into early matrimony.

Having spent two years of high school in India, she developed a deep desire to communicate the stories of individuals whose voices are often overlooked or unheard.
