Violin Notation for Tagore Songs
The book contains Sheet Music (Staff Notation at Scale D, Key Signature D - Two Sharps) for 10 selected songs for Beginner to Intermediate level. Violin specific Bow Directions are additionally provided to enrich the book for Violin learners. The original Lyrics is provided on each notes. They songs are ordered in such a way that learner will be benefited to get a chance to start and progress on Rabindra Sangeet / Tagore songs in Violin / Mandolin. So the idea is to provide an opportunity to read the sheet music and sing & play in D Scaled instruments – Violin, Mandolin, Piano, Guitar etc.
Couple of sheets are provided for each songs.
a) Solo treble notation specifically for Violin / Mandolin in Key D. This helps the entire song notation in 1 or max 2 pages.
b) Complete Sheets with Treble & Bass notes including the Chords symbols to facilitate the Piano, Guitar or group of musicians on D scale (3-4 pages).

Riddhi is a multi-instrument player & has close to 20+ years of musical experience. Primarily focussed on Flute & Piano, he also plays Ukulele, Guitar, Harmonica, Melodica, Sarod, Tabla etc. Riddhi is learning with Guruji, Sri D. Madhusudan since 2010. Riddhi has performed classical music, Raga, Light classical music, Rabindra Sangeet, Bollywood Golden Era songs, Patriotic songs etc. on Flute & Harmonica in lot of places - During Durga Puja, Diwali & Maa Kali Puja at Kolkata, Uttarpara, Malda, Dasaswamedh Ghat, Varanasi, Function at Bangalore, Mangalore, Mineapolis (US) etc.
The notations are verified by our mother, Smt Gargi Sanyal. She was the student of legendary Artist Smt Suchitra Mitra at Rabithirtha, Kolkata for a long time (over 15+ years) during 1960s ~ 1980s. She has learnt advance lessons from Smt Swastika Mukhopadhyay, who is the professor in Visva-Bharati since 2013.
She has still maintained her golden voice and published various songs in YouTube on request. She helped us to correct each of the songs with tune, lyrics & rhythm. It’s all her support to reach the perfection on each of the sheet music notes.
