The author Dr. Jose Kudakasseril is at present teaching at Brilliant Study Centre, in Pala, Kerala. He is running a plant tissue culture lab named Phytoclone Laboratories. Dr. Jose Kudakasseril is a scientist and a teacher. He took his doctoral degree in Botany from the University of New Hampshire, USA. His post doctoral research was done at the University of Minnesota, USA. He has taught at various institutions such as Kenyon College, Ohio, USA and K.C College, Mumbai. He has worked at the Unilever Research Centre in Mumbai and at the Central Food Technological Research Institute in Mysore, India.
