Niladri Sircar was passionate about donning the military uniform like his late father, an Air Force veteran, but destiny turned him into an unintended banker. A certified associate of Indian Institute of Banker’s-Mumbai, and his career spanning over 35 years, he has travelled widely on different assignments, finally retiring as the Vice President of a leading private bank. A passionate reader, he has been scribbling, sketching ideas and short stories during these periods, as he moved places and experienced the inflexible realities of life both in and out of the corporate landscape.

He completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station of Agra, and the city where he was also born and brought up. Post retirement, he compiled these rough notes and brought them into fine print, showcasing the unsung, untold interesting anecdotes of an unknown Indian.
He is a devoted Rotarian now and lives in Kolkata, where he spends time with the Rotary Club’s philanthropic activities, touring places and leisure writing.
