Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalMind, Meditation & Mysticism
Interaction between body, mind, behaviour and soul is the simplest definition of meditation.
Meditation signals the brain to shift from high-frequency waves to the slower, more relaxed waves that produce states of calm, deep focus, and sleep. The mind slows down the thought process, which otherwise is constantly going on in the mind. This helps to increase mental strength. Such a person usually remains in a balanced state in any given situation.
The mind is a very complex structure. The mind can make or mar a person. This wavering mind cannot always be in a delicate, cheerful and happy state .At times, the mind may be rough, tough and in a sunken state. This can occur in defiance of our wishes and desires. Meditation can bring about a balance between the different states of the mind.Meditation trains the mind to remain cool, calm and composed.Meditation sharpens the mind by remaining focused, and expands the mind through relaxation.
