I am Dr. Kanhu Charan Patro, a Chief Radiation Oncologist by profession. I feel motivated to publish a book sharing my ideology because I am concerned about helping people have a clearer perspective on marriage and the process of dating.
In some traditional families, the term "dating" is seen as unacceptable since it involves various aspects without the clear-cut mention of marriage. However, I believe that dating can help salvage relationships that may be falling apart after marriage. From what I have observed, many young people are separating early on because they lack a true understanding of the essence of marriage. A successful relationship requires both partners to be invested in it; it cannot be a one-person effort. In dealing with such complexities, it's crucial to understand many aspects. Yet, it may not always be possible to gain all the necessary knowledge from a single source. Therefore, in this book, we share the insights we've gathered during our journey to help young people comprehend the strategies needed for a lifelong commitment.
