Author Name: Vishnu Mithinti | Format: Paperback | Genre : Educational & Professional | Other Details

Our mind thrusts us into experiencing certain events. Some are sweet; some turn out to be bitter. Our mind also makes us suffer the aftermath of bitter experiences by constantly bombarding us with whys, hows, whats and such relentless questions to which there can be no answers. Finally, our mind has to find a solution and get us out of it too. Our own mind is our saviour, destroyer, pacifier, sufferer, rescuer, sympathiser and liberator. It is both our friend and foe, depending upon whether our mind belongs to us or we belong to our mind.

The author is a qualified engineer, an ex-defence officer, a life skills trainer, a motivational speaker and, now, an author. This is his first attempt at publishing a book, which is based on a true event in his life and how he felt its aftermath should be dealt with.

After a bitter experience at London, it was difficult for him to come to terms with what happened and being a life skills trainer, as he likes to call himself, and having read a lot of material on such matters as philosophy, life and mind and its ways with us, it only worsened his agony. He deeply introspected on how he could not see what was coming.  He studied the lives of people who fought back and stood tall after certain uninvited traumatic experiences in their lives. He thinks he realised something to share with all.  Through this book, he wants to share what he learnt from this experience and how to deal with the aftermath of such unpleasant experiences in life.
