Satpal Singh Johar

Satpal Singh Johar is a seasoned aviation professional with about 56 years of rich experience of working first with M/s Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and, after retirement, at HAL, with M/s Merlinhawk Aerospace Private Limited, Bangalore, to serve and support the National Defence. His expertise ranges in organisations both from the public and private sectors. He believes in patience, perseverance and devoting oneself wholeheartedly to one’s beliefs. 

Satpal Singh was born in 1944 in Rawalpindi, now in, Pakistan. He has, personally witnessed the devastating effects of the Partition, the human suffering that followed and how the displaced citizens came out of deprivation, poverty and misery with sheer hard work and diligence.

A thinker and keen observer of human behaviour, he has been writing fiction and nonfiction pieces since his early 20s. His work spans varied themes, ranging from romance to personal experience to commentary on political events. This is his first published work but surely not the last one. Many more may flow out of his pen. 

He is passionate about travelling and closely follows current political affairs and the economy. Over the years, he has developed a deep interest in the impact of capitalism on people from different strata of society. He firmly believes in the fact that the economy must take full care of the downtrodden and empower them to lead dignified lives.

He lives in Delhi, and when not working, he likes to read, travel and interact with professional and personal friends. He has a very large number of friends on social media as well as in his personal life. He loves to interact on a personal basis and maintain a friendship with all.
