Mr. V.P. Kannan, M.Com., M.C.A., is presently working as a Scientist - F / Senior Technical Director in National Informatics Centre (NIC), Tamil Nadu State Centre, Chennai under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India.
After finishing his primary schooling in his native village, Vettarampatty, a small hamlet at Tirunelveli District in Tamil Nadu, he had studied in St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Vickramasingapuram, Tirunelveli District till plus two. Afterwards, he finished graduation and post-graduation in commerce from Yadava College, Madurai and Department of Commerce, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai respectively. Subsequently, immediately after post-graduation in commerce, he went on to complete post-graduation in computer applications from Thiyagaraja College of Engineering, Madurai.
After that, preceded by a brief interlude in a private concern in Bangalore, he joined NIC, Arunachal Pradesh State Unit, Itanagar as a Scientific Officer/Programmer and has been serving in different capacities in the different offices of NIC till his current position as Scientist - F / Senior Technical Director in NIC, Chennai.
His interaction and experience with different types of people in different parts of our country from his school days to the present period has motivated him to write this book on English grammar in order to help the learners of English grammar from all walks of life, especially the students, young job seekers and those in the initial period of their career, to learn the grammar in a simple, practical and comprehensive way almost without anybody’s help so that the learners of this grammar book develop a professional skill in English which is the gateway to the first step of success in the career of most of the people.
