Most families experience the rush of the early morning to prepare a quick meal for kids to take to school or to get to the office on time, slurping that cup of coffee and munching on a rushed breakfast snack is normal start of the day. In all this rushing process, one can hardly spend much time consuming a healthy meal. It's no different for lunch and dinner - people eat to keep them going. A common problem is regularly eating a balanced diet that includes vegetables, fruits, dairy, poultry, grains, and nuts. Very often we usually miss one or the other, either because of choice or due to dietary restriction. Clearly, people tend to avoid the basic nutrients of fruits and vegetables; and rather eat unhealthy processed foods that contain significant amounts of sugar and sodium that ultimately harm their health and lead to man-made diseases such as obesity, heart disease, cancer and type 2 diabetes. It's no wonder they are referred to as junk foods. Junk food intoxicates and stresses our body. Many diseases are formed in an unhealthy and inflamed intestine. To live a healthier life, one must find a healthier option and change current eating habits. and rather eat unhealthy processed foods that contain significant amounts of sugar and sodium that ultimately harm their health and lead to man-made diseases such as obesity, heart disease, cancer and type 2 diabetes. It's no wonder they are referred to as junk foods.
