Chen Wei Teng
Wei Teng is an educator based in Singapore. Formerly an educational therapist with the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS), she is currently teaching at NorthLight School. She works with teenagers with learning difficulties such as dyslexia and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and who often come from challenging or disadvantaged family backgrounds.
When not traversing the corners of the earth to embrace new experiences, she can be found at home strumming her ukulele or taking nature walks. She hopes the inspirations she draws from around her help her be a better teacher and writer.
This is Wei Teng’s first children’s picture book. She can be reached at chenwt@gmail.com.
