Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThis is an amateurish attempt and should be viewed in that light only. Though I do not have much literary background worth boasting about, I have endeavoured to craft a narration that is both free-flowing and captivating to readers. It is the life story of an ordinary middle-class boy, born into modest circumstances, and follows his journey from childhood through adolescence to the day he retired from service. I have chosen to delve only into incidents and memories that have either greatly influenced me or persistently linger in my mind.

Jayaraj Menon
Shri Jayaraj Menon retired from Central Government service under the Finance Ministry after more than three decades of service. "My Memoirs" is a book that he penned after his retirement. Through the book, the author has tried to shed light on various unforgettable incidents and events that happened in his life from childhood through adolescence and to his last day in the department. Readers can easily relate a few of the incidents to those that happened in their own lives, which, in turn, will make them feel that the book is a reflection of their own stories. He has also delved into the experiences he gained from his working days as well as his life in a city like Mumbai. The lucid language and the humorous narration will pep up the reader's mood and make reading a pleasant experience.
