The extraordinary sage Vyasa stated:
||चयगुयोपथयसंयमः ||
'To forsake the joy picked up through the sexual organs by restriction is characterized as abstinence."
Ruler Siva said to Goddess Parvati,
||सबदौमहादेवकनसयितभूतले ||
"O Parvati! What is there on this planet which can't be refined in the event that one has command over his sexual liquid?" That is, all forces live at the celestial feet of the edified Urdhvareta (one who can sublimate his sexual energy through the act of yoga). Truth be told, Siddhis (divine forces) become his easy workers. Such a Sadhaka can achieve Self-Realization inside a limited ability to focus time. Indeed, even the divine beings (gods) have accomplished eternality through Brahmacharya".
||चयणतपसादेवामृयुमपानत ||
||इहचयणदेवेयःवराभरत ||
"The divine beings have vanquished passing by Brahmacharya and compensation. Indra, the King of divine beings, has accomplished a still higher status, through the self-control of Brahmacharya."
