Dr. Hilal Ahmad Rather is 3-Times International Medalist & World Champion in Kick-Boxing. He has been awarded Best Sportsman of J&K (Recipient of Chief Minister’s Excellence Award) Presented by Hon’ble Chief Minister of J&K State Mr. Gh. Nabi Azad at Sheri Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in 2006. He has been the Torch Bearer in XIX Common Wealth Games 2010 New Delhi, India in Queen’s Baton Relay in J&K.
Dr. Hilal Ahmad Rather had also been the recipient of Life Time Achievement Award in sport which was awarded by Mr. Tariq Hameed Karra Member of Indian Parliament (Former Minister for Finance, Planning, Law, Housing Forest, and Urban Development J&K State) in presence of Hon’ble Sports Minister of J&K State Mr. Taj Mohi-Ud-Din in 2013.
Dr. Rather has been awarded as Best Research Paper Presenter at Global Scientific Conference on Physical education, Health & Sports sciences 24th – 26th January 2014 at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab.
