Storytelling is a powerful medium to inform young readers and engage with them. Author Urvashi Tandon recognizes this, and each of her stories incorporate elements of nature, wildlife, and our surroundings to introduce the world to little children. Her collection of stories seeks to entertain, as well as help impart valuable lessons in a fun way to children everywhere. One such lesson is the understanding of personal responsibility, and Urvashi incorporates this well in the dialogues between characters in stories. Potpourri is a wonderful assortment of adventures, and teachers and parents alike will appreciate the simplicity with which author Urvashi Tandon has presented each lesson.

Her belief that the planet is in dire need for help as a result of the thoughtless regard for nature we have continued on so long with spurred her further to pen this book. Urvashi feels it is prudent to start spreading awareness at a young age, to help get the conversation going faster and quicker if we hope to see a better society and environment in the years to come.

Urvashi Tandon is a professor of Anaesthesiology, trained in Paediatric Anaesthesia and hence the inclination to write for children. She served in the Armed Forces for nearly three decades and has also written articles for magazines, including travelogues, apart from professional research work. She is a trained vocalist, an energy healer and a spiritual seeker. She strongly believes in living consciously.

This book is available in print and e-book format at the Notion Press online bookstore and several other e-commerce portals including Amazon and Flipkart.
