The setting of the book is a kitty party in Delhi. In this kitty party are our main protagonists – seven high class women. What seems to be an innocuous party at first soon turns into a trip down memory lane as each woman reminisces about the past.  But the past isn’t something to lightly trifled with and each of them find themselves battles the memories that sometimes threaten to overwhelm them, memories that they have buried so deep in their subconscious.

They paint the picture of resilient daughters looking for answers that may be lost or can only be found within. They explore the truth that Indian daughters are afraid to accept. This is a touching, poignant, emotional and a truly remarkable journey that is to be cherished. A book for all of us out there to understand the reality of an Indian daughter and to look at it from their perspective.
