Born in a small town, then called Ranchi, now a capital of Jharkhand State, the author was sent to areputed English Medium School, “St. Xavier’s School, Ranchi”. He was always found in the school library reading books of different genres. Academics was not of great interest to him from a young age. Opted to be a fashion designer in a family of teachers and doctors, the author enjoyed travelling around the country. It is his work that took him around. The author cherishes his travel and work meeting different people on a daily basis. His permanent interest remains writing although he gets to teach and interact with the public and develops business for reputed clients. After spending over five years in exploring the professional scope in the country, the author has settled in his home town as
a senior faculty in a reputed Fashion institute, IIFT (International Institute of Fashion Technology,) Ranchi. He intends to spread the importance of education and make the world a better place to live. The author never imagined he would take up a intelligentsia work like writing when he was busy promoting fashion. Until one fine day, the extended family after seeing my posts in the social media encouraged him to write. This motivated me to write my first book The Labour Pain of a Father.
All credit to my elder daughter for being a protagonist in this book– “the sutradhar” and of course all the other members of my family including my mom, my wife, my bro… who have enacted their parts well. The love of my daughter made me a obsessed man (otherwise a creative and artistic personality). Being a father transformed me and even made me write a book for my beloved daughter. To write about an experience very close to my heart, bonding of father and daughter. They say once you become a father, you start growing up with the daughter all over again, and I do believe in it .
