Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalKalikayen, like the name suggests, is a bunch of divergent yet unique floret of poems, ghazals and nazms, each of which spreads its own eccentric fragrance, hue and warmth. This book takes us on a voyage of verses illustrating our lives and lifestyles.
The diction is just enough connotative when the author writes in Hindi and a bit mellifluous wherever Urdu is employed, personifying the meticulous interlacing of the author’s spirit.
The verses are articulated the way imperviousness, bitterness and controversies are permeated in the society, and they move the readers’ psyche and make them feel connected.
Where the vehemence of misery and despair is manifested, there is also a reflection of the desire to live the life on one's pre-requisites.
The author's emotional well being explicitly identifies with even the most imperceptible objects whether it is a mirror, plant, lake, a wall or even air.
In a nutshell,Kalikayen is a delightful potpourri of scintillating aroma.
