nurdles, microbeads. The second chapter also describes sources and classification of microplastics, biography of
professor Richard Thompson. The third chapter describes causes and effects of plastics pollution. The third chapter also
describes how microplastics effects our marine ecosystems and birds. The fourth chapter discusses microplastics
sampling process. The fourth chapter provides colourfull photograph and brief description of different types of nets like
neuston net, manta net, plankton net, avani trawl net, bongo net which is used in microplastics sampling. The fifth
chapter has a special mention on impacts of single use plastics. The fifth chapter also describes how to reduce plastics
pollution.
