Eswari.....her face beaming as always, dot from the time the sun's rays graze the locality......till about noon......when she gets a little exhausted from her demanding profession ! Even CV 19 could not covet her, as she disregardingly ignores the aerosol, wearing sterilised mask & clinical gloves, handling her surgical instruments & her patients with casual aplomb. Her face bright as ever.....before & after CV issue, only radiance replaced her beam. May be she has realised her greater role in this society, of not just maintaining standards of health and hygiene, but uplifting her ideals through disregarding the existence of CV 19 and getting on with her job merrily. Thus justifies her radiance over beam. Her patients were from the higher stream of the social ladder, who could surely afford to pay her fees for the excavation job she was into. A job which involved clinical attitude. A profession which required managerial skills.....of handling different people with different natures.....that too without a whimper. But Eswari never bothered to go after them seeking her remuneration, for, she had taken up this job as a God-given gift, to serve urban humans, and was contended with the salary offered by her boss. Such is her intense devotion to duty....that without fear for the CV 19 transmisfion from her umpteen patients, from their excavated particles, she emits diligent radiance to the core, as ever!
May be Eswari is a honourable doctor, or a divine nurse??
Nope !
.
.
The 'patients' are house-wives.
And Eswari is a 'pourakarmika' ( a garbage collector) on a contract job under a contractor attached to the municipality.
