Apart from self-development topics, NC has authored many management topics such as Enigma of Lean, Six Sigma in a Nutshell and Statistical Guide. He is an avid blogger who shares his knowledge and wisdom through many subjects in social media covering spirituality, music and many leadership development topics. NC is a gold medallist in Mechanical Engineering, holds an MS (Research) degree in Computer-Aided Design from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, popularly known as IIT. He has also done his management program on Change Management.

‘लीडरशिप’ प्रबंधन एवं मानव संसाधन के क्षेत्र का बहुआयामी शब्द है और हम सब अपनी-अपनी समझ एवं दृष्टिकोण से इसका आशय निकालते हैं। जहाँ लीडरशिप या नेतृत्व गुण हम सबकी प्रगति के लिए अत्यावश्यक है, वहीं हमारी शिक्षण प्रणाली में नेतृत्व गुण को यथोचित महत्व प्राप्त नहीं है। जिस शिक्षा प्रणाली के तहत हम अपनी ज़िंदगी के 15 से 20 मूल्यवान वर्ष व्यतीत करते हैं, वहाँ हम जानकारियाँ तो ग्रहण कर लेते हैं पर नेतृत्व गुण नहीं। शिक्षण पूर्ण करने के पश्चात युवा जब अपनी आजीविका प्रारम्भ करते हैं तो अधिकांश संस्थानों का अधिकतम ज़ोर उनके तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण पर होता है, नेतृत्व क्षमता पर नहीं। लेखक का मानना है कि नेतृत्व गुण सिर्फ कुछ विशिष्ट लोगों के लिए ईश्वर प्रदत्त नहीं है, बल्कि ये तो कभी भी, किसी भी आयु में विकसित किए जा सकते हैं। यूँ तो लीडरशिप विषय पर कई पुस्तकें उपलब्ध हैं पर उनमें लीडर को एक असाधारण नायक के रूप में दर्शाया गया है जो लेखक के विचार से भारतीय युवाओं के समक्ष लीडरशिप के सही मायने नहीं रखता।
मूल रूप से अँग्रेजी में ‘प्रागमेटिक लीडरशिप’ शीर्षक की यह पुस्तक हमें बताती है कि मानव में वह असाधारण प्राकृतिक शक्ति है जिसके बलबूते, वह सीढ़ी-दर-सीढ़ी नेतृत्व गुणों को विकसित कर सकता है। इस पुस्तक में नेतृत्व गुणों को 3 चरणों में, व्यक्तिगत, टीम एवं सांगठनिक स्तर पर विकसित करने की प्रक्रिया सरल एवं सुसंगत भाषा में समझाई गई है। सामान्य पृष्ठभूमि से उभरकर निकले सफल लीडर्स के जीवन प्रसंग पुस्तक को अनुकरणीय बनाते है। पुस्तक को हिन्दी भाषी एवं महत्वाकांक्षी युवाओं तक पहुँचाने के उद्देश्य से श्री श्रीधर गोखले ने इसे हिन्दी में अनूदित किया है।
